Our Adoption Process
We like to let people know what to expect in our process, if you are interested in adopting a pet through us here are the steps to take.
1. Fill out an application-To set up a meet and greet please click HERE for a dog application or click HERE for a cat application, if you have any questions about the applications don't hesitate to e-mail us, at
2. Meet and Greet/Home Visit- The meet and greet and home check can be done in two steps or one! This is the time where the whole family meets your potential new pet. We like to make sure that everyone that lives in the home meets the new pet, including current pets. This can be arranged to be done at your home or another location like a park, veterinary office, etc. If you have other dogs we like to start the introduction on leash in front of the house, usually with a brief walk, so the dogs feel less territorial. If the meet and greet is not done at your home, and you decide to adopt a home visit will still need to be done. The home visit is quick, and easy. We are simply making sure the home is safe for that pet in particular, we may have suggestions; like needing to secure a gate in the backyard, or making sure a wall is high enough.
3. Contract and Adoption Fee- If everything goes well and there's a match then it's time to complete the adoption. Our adoption fee's vary from $200-400(dogs and puppies) and $75-$150 (cats and kittens) and include the pet being up to date on vaccines, spayed/neutered, and micro-chipped.
Sponsor one of our dogs
Sometimes adoption fees do not cover all of the medical care that goes into each dog. Often times the dogs need a little, or a lot of extra care. Sponsoring a dog can help offset the cost of the extra care. Whether they need a dental, help mending a broken limb, or a special grooming to remove matting, your sponsorship with help make our pups comfortable while they wait for their new homes.
